Fort Roche is a full-service, international security company based in London. We believe that while there is science behind the principles of good security, there is an art to their successful application. Whether chaperoning a foreign dignitary in Paris, protecting VIPs in Somalia, or ensuring the security of a top hotel, Fort Roche delivers finely tailored risk management solutions to clients that appreciate a more nuanced approach.
Risks are found at the intersection of threats and vulnerabilities. A realistic appreciation of risk is essential for designing effective, proportional security. Fort Roche consultants have broad experience of evaluating security risks, in sectors as diverse as the mining and hotel industries. In our view, there is no security task too small to justify a risk assessment.
Since 1993, Fort Roche personnel have been successfully protecting hotels, private residences, offices and schools. Our security managers and officers are carefully selected and trained to have well-rounded skills that deliver utility beyond security, allowing them to become integral to site operations. And in an industry often characterized by low wages, weak management and high turnover; we are proud to attract and retain some of the best men and women in the industry with respectful remuneration and personalized management.
Fort Roche has discreetly chaperoned film stars, rock stars, foreign dignitaries, and affluent clients in places like London and Paris. We have also provided armed protection for visitors to places like Mogadishu and Mexico City. Unless the client desires otherwise, we prefer a low-key, light-touch presence that avoids drawing attention, sometimes supplemented with covert counter-surveillance (if warranted by the risk assessment). Our protection and counter-surveillance officers have typically served with the European special forces or police protection agencies, but our in-house training adds the polish that distinguishes them as Fort Roche operators.
We see no boundary between physical and cyber security, when hacked security systems can allow unauthorized access, or geo-tagged social media posts can tell threat actors where you are. For that reason, our risk assessments, security plans and operations all have cyber threat awareness and mitigation woven in. We have made a point of developing partnerships with world class cyber security experts and tools. Fort Roche embraces technology as an enhancer of human security operations. We have experience and expertise in the operational integration of surveillance cameras, access control and security screening systems, technical counter-surveillance measures, and personnel and asset tracking.
